You'll fly past the Columbia Glacier (the only place in North America where water drains to 3 different oceans) as well as 7/9 of the highest peaks in the Candian Rockies. Between filming and guiding we've done heli-fishing flights all over the Canadian Rockies and even in Pyrenees in Europe, and nothing we've seen even remotely compares to the flight into Fortress.

Originally stocked with genetically pure, world record strain Nipigon Coaster Brook Trout in the 1930s, this productive mountain lake is bursting with life. As the only fish to be found on this lake, there's an exceptional growth rate of approximately 2 pounds in their third year. You can expect to reel in brook trout ranging from 3 to 6 pounds, with some even larger specimens lurking beneath the surface. There trout put up a spirited fight with their impressive weight.
