Well typically the rivers are unfishable from snow melt and spring runoff, during June, leaving us with just the lakes and reservoirs for options. The Bow has remained fishable thus far. They drained 6m of water from Ghost Dam to make room for potential runoff/flood water, without bothering to check the snowpack that was left in the mountains. Once the reservoirs were close to empty they made the seemingly obvious observation that the snow pack was already gone for the year and that there may not be enough snow to refill the reservoirs, so in a day we went from 200m3/s to 86m3/s in a matter of hours. The rivers were as low as we’ve ever seen it in June but its still fishing well.
