With the crazy early spring we’re having the ice is off the river everywhere in town and the river is fishing very well. Naoto has been out several days a week and Josh and Paula have joined him on numerous occasions. We’ve had such unseasonably warm weather that we hit mid teens (14C-16C’s) several days in a row and had a guest from New Jersey wanting to book a February trip, unfortunately the day after this warm spell. He wasn’t willing to be persuaded and did a walk and wade in -15C temps. Despite the cold snap he hooked half a dozen fish and still landed a beautiful bow river rainbow. He was definitely a trooper for braving the cold weather! First full face mask balaclava grip and grin photo we have of a guest.
